  3. Figured we could use this as a general sort of fitness/health/gym thread to discuss workout tips, places to purchase protein, dieting tips, etc.
  4. How often or how frequently do you visit the theater? Are there certain criteria that warrant paying that little bit extra for the bigger screen? Do you prefer to watch movies in the theater or in the comfort of your own home?
  5. If you could become immortal on the condition you would NEVER be able to die or kill yourself, would you choose immortality?

    The SRK2 Saloon Thread

I wish I could go swimming. My apartment complex's pool is only a maximum of like four feet deep. I'm the same though, probably going to see it Saturday evening.

    Bittersweet's Ultimate Movie Thread

It's a really well done movie that makes you question life, the universe and everything while trying not to be overwhelmed by the massive dizzying array of colors.

Thanks for pointing that out! Link should work now. What is it about a movie that makes it enjoyable for you? CinemaBlend has put together a list of twelve films they feel have killed a potential franchise, do you agree or disagree with the list? If so why? King Arthur: Legend of The Sword Dracula Untold John Carter The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Ender's Game Super Mario Bros. The Golden Compass Beautiful Creatures Van Helsing Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events The Lone Ranger The Wolfman Click to see the list and their reasoning behind each choice. Would you add anything to this list? If so, what and why?

    The Official Gym/Fitness/Health Thread

Lucky, I got screwed over. I was extremely active in my youth and then an injury took away the entire winter worth of physical activity my body grew accustomed to; but, my hunger levels never changed

How many movies have you seen? https://www.listchallenges.com/movie-checklist My results: 194 of 1095 movies Rank: #1,996 of 5,671 users (top 35%) --- There was a lot of movies on this list way, way before my time. Only reason I saw Nosferatu, The Great Train Robbery, Birth of a Nation and a few other oldies was because of my Cinema History course in college.

How tall are you? I'm just wondering because I'm 6'3" and according to the BMI, I'm overweight unless I weigh 200 lbs lol.
  16. A place to discuss what novels you're planning to read, what authors you're interested or keeping up with, stuff like that.. So, I'll begin. Worst book you've been required to read for a course/class?

    General Lit. Discussion Thread

My friend actually said the same thing about re-reading all of the Battletech books. I'll have to check them out. I've been working my way through a lot of free books offered through the website Bookbub.

    The Ultimate History Thread

Figured might as well make this as I'm a bit of a history nut. This will essentially be the center for all discussions pertaining to history or history-related things. So for a starting topic, favorite historical leader and why?

    The Marvel Movie/TV Thread

Wasn't as funny as I was hoping for. Though I do have to admit, I'm super stoked for the movie to come out.

Yeah, true. I'll try to make some new threads to help out with activity as well.

Really? I don't know how I feel about Venom. He's been one of my more preferred anti-heroes. I mean I enjoy Tom Hardy as an actor; but, I don't know if the route their taking is the best way to bring him on screen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
